A Blooming Escape
Last weekend, I went to Daesan Flower Garden in Changwon! As someone who loves flowers, I was really looking forward to this visit. Daesan Flower Garden is a place where various flowers bloom throughout the four seasons, and it is said to be the prettiest when you visit in spring and fall. Even though I visited in the summer, it was really beautiful because there were so many colorful flowers. The admission fee is 5,000 won for adults, and the operating hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The parking lot is large and free, so it was easy to visit. The location is Daesan-myeon, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, so it is easy to get there by car.
First Impressions: A Sea of Flowers
As soon as I entered Daesan Flower Garden, I couldn't help but be amazed by the fragrant scent of flowers and the colorful display of flowers. There were quite a few visitors, perhaps because it was the weekend, but thanks to the spacious space, it didn't feel crowded. The restrooms were also clean and convenient to use. The most impressive place was the rose garden, which was full of roses of various colors, so it was really pretty. Also, the sunflower field is famous as an Instagram photo spot, and I was able to take many great pictures. I highly recommend it to those who like taking pictures.
Attractions and Amenities: More Than Just Flowers
Daesan Flower Garden has many things to see and enjoy besides flowers. There is also a small playground for children, so it is a good place to visit with your family. There is also a store in the park that sells simple snacks and drinks, so it is a good place to take a break during your walk. There are many delicious restaurants near the flower garden, so after we walked around the flower garden, we had a delicious meal nearby. In particular, there was a famous seafood stew restaurant in Changwon nearby, so we had a delicious meal. The walk in the flower garden and the delicious food made the day end perfectly.
Overall Evaluation
Daesan Flower Garden was a heaven for flower lovers. The various flowers were in full bloom, making it perfect for a healing walk. The rose garden and sunflower field were particularly impressive, and they were great for taking pictures. The playground for children and convenient stores made it a great place for families to visit. We were able to end the day perfectly by eating at a nearby restaurant. I wanted to visit again, and I want to come back in the spring to see more flowers.
